Manifesto of Studies a.y. 2025/2026

Below is a list of the courses included in the Master's degree programme, organised by year of study. Please note that the course structure below is valid for students enrolled from the 2025-2026 academic year onwards and is also specified in the Study Manifesto.

Details on the degree programme are available in the

All other students should refer to the Study Manifesto for the year of enrolment, available in the archive.

In the current Master's Degree Study Plan, credits are assigned to “activities” as defined by the relevant Regulations, specifically:

  1. 15 ECTS for the final exam (preparation and discussion of the thesis)
  2. 6 ECTS for internships/work placements, i.e. practical training activities to be carried out externally (companies, agencies) or internally (laboratories, etc.), often linked to the preparation of the thesis
  3. 3 ECTS for “Additional knowledge”, the subject of this section

In previous years' study plans, in addition to the credits awarded for the “Final exam”, 6 ECTS were awarded which, although referred to as “Additional knowledge”, were linked to internship activities (as per point 2 above). Therefore, students enrolled in academic years prior to 2017/18 should refer to the “Internship” section to find out how to acquire the 6 ECTS credits for Additional Knowledge.
